Registration

Registration Method:

Applicants may register via the CGPTC official website or the mobile app by accessing the“Certification Registration Portal.”

Please submit the following information:

Personal Information (Full name, nationality, ID card/passport number)
Contact Information (Mobile number, email address)
Educational Background and Work Experience
Applied Occupation Category and Certification Level
Upload Identification Documents and a Recent Passport-Style Photograph

Information Review

Review Timeline:

Initial review will be completed within five (5) working days after submission.

Review Result Notification:

Approved:The system will send an email notification with payment instructions.
Not Approved:The reason(s) will be specified. Applicants may supplement required materials and resubmit the application.

Payment

Payment Methods:

Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard);
Bank Transfer: USD remittance supported to the CGPTC Hong Kong corporate account;
Third-Party Payment Platforms: Alipay, WeChat Pay (payments are automatically converted to USD at the real-time exchange rate; the USD amount and conversion details will be displayed on the payment page)

Fee Structure:

Registration Fee (including document review);
Examination Fee (including theoretical examination and practical assessment) ;
Certificate Fee (including an electronic certificate and optional paper certificate with mailing service);
Fee Information:All fees are settled exclusively in United States Dollars (USD). The specific amount varies according to the applied occupation and certification level and is clearly indicated in USD on the application page.
All fees are exclusive of Value-Added Tax (VAT).

Registration Successful

Conditions for Successful Registration:

Registration is considered successful upon approval of submitted documents and successful payment confirmation by the system.

Refund Policy:

Refund requests may be submitted within seven (7) days after successful registration, subject to a 20% handling fee.
No refunds are allowed within thirty (30) days prior to the examination date.
In the event of exam cancellation, applicants may choose a full refund or exam rescheduling.
Refunds will be returned via the original payment method. For Hong Kong local bank transfers, processing typically takes 3–7 working days.

Exam Arrangement & Notification

Examination Notification Method:

Examination notifications will be sent via email and SMS.

Notification Details:

Examination date and venue (including remote examination access links, if applicable)
Examination instructions and regulations
Admission ticket download (including candidate number and examination venue details)

Important Notes:

Applicants are required to install the examination system in advance and test their equipment (for remote examinations).
Candidates must bring valid identification documents and the admission ticket to attend the examination.
All candidates are required to comply with examination regulations. Cheating is strictly prohibited.

Examination

Examination Format:

Theoretical Examination (Online / Onsite)
Practical Assessment(For certain occupations, onsite assessment or video submission is required.);
Examination Content:Examination content is based on the corresponding CGPTC occupational standards and question banks.

Results Release& Inquiry

Results Release Timeline:

Examination results will be released within fifteen (15) working days after the examination.

Result Inquiry:

Log in to the CGPTC official website and enter the “Certification Inquiry Portal”;
Enter the candidate number or ID/passport number to view results;
Result Notification:The system will push an official score report, indicating pass or fail status.

Certificate Issuance

Certificate Issuance Conditions:

Candidates who pass the examination will automatically enter the certificate issuance process.

Certificate Formats:

Electronic Certificate: Available for download via the platform;
Paper Certificate: Optional postal delivery(Dispatched from Hong Kong; international shipping fees apply);
The certificate includes:Candidate information、Occupation name、Certification level、Date of issuance、Certificate number

Certificate Authenticity Verification

Certificate Authenticity Verification:

Certificate authenticity can be verified by entering the certificate number via the “Certification Inquiry Portal” on the CGPTC official website.
