Eligibility Requirements:

  1. Any one of the following:
  2. （1）At least 1 year of cumulative work experience in computer assembly, peripheral equipment commissioning, hardware testing, equipment maintenance, IT hardware repair or related work.
  3. （2）College diploma or above in Computer Science and Technology, Electronic Information, Mechatronics, Automation Technology, Computer Engineering or a related field.
  4. （3）Another Level 2 computer or electronic manufacturing certificate certified by the China Global Professional and Technical Certification Center.

Examination Method:

  1. Theoretical examination: Computer-based or online written examination covering computer hardware fundamentals, assembly processes, commissioning standards and testing standards. Duration: 90 minutes.
  2. Practical assessment: On-site practical operation, assembly/commissioning demonstration and system testing exercises. Assesses complete computer assembly, peripheral equipment commissioning, system testing and troubleshooting. Duration: 120 minutes.

Assessment Content:

  1. Theoretical Knowledge: Computer hardware architecture; peripheral equipment principles and interface technology; assembly processes and commissioning standards; principles of printers, monitors and disk arrays; quality inspection standards and methods; safety production regulations.
  2. Operational Skills: Use computer/peripheral equipment production lines, process equipment and hardware/software commissioning tools to assemble and commission computers, printers, monitors and disk arrays; perform system integration and testing; troubleshoot and repair hardware faults; execute quality control procedures.
