Eligibility Requirements:

  1. Any one of the following:
  2. (1)At least 1 year of cumulative work experience in concrete mixing, placement, curing and repair, building material inspection, construction work or related work.
  3. (2)College diploma or above in Construction Engineering Technology, Civil Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, Engineering Management, Building Materials or a related field.
  4. (3)Another Level 2 construction or building-related certificate certified by the China Global Professional and Technical Certification Center.

Examination Method:

  1. Theoretical examination: Computer-based or online written examination covering concrete material fundamentals, construction processes, curing standards and quality standards. Duration: 90 minutes.
  2. Practical assessment: On-site practical operation, mixing demonstration and concrete placement exercises. Assesses proportioning/mixing, placement, curing/repair and quality control. Duration: 120 minutes.

Assessment Content:

  1. Theoretical Knowledge: Fundamentals of concrete materials; concrete mix design; mixing processes and standards; concrete placement standards; curing methods and defect repair; quality control standards; safety production regulations.
  2. Operational Skills: Operate concrete mixing and other equipment for concrete proportioning/mixing, placement, curing and defect repair; execute concrete construction process standards; use testing tools to assess concrete quality; handle technical construction problems; comply with safety production regulations.
