Eligibility Requirements:

  1. Any one of the following:
  2. （1）At least 1 year of cumulative work experience in architectural decoration construction, interior renovation, decorative component manufacturing/installation, surface treatment, arts and crafts production or related work.
  3. （2）College diploma or above in Building Decoration Engineering, Interior Design, Environmental Art Design, Construction Engineering Technology, Arts and Crafts or a related field.
  4. （3）Another Level 2 architectural decoration or construction certificate certified by the China Global Professional and Technical Certification Center.

Examination Method:

  1. Theoretical examination: Computer-based or online written examination covering decorative materials, construction processes, design standards and quality standards. Duration: 90 minutes.
  2. Practical assessment: On-site practical operation, decoration demonstration and quality testing exercises. Assesses surface treatment, spatial decoration, decorative component manufacturing/installation and quality control. Duration: 120 minutes.

Assessment Content:

  1. Theoretical Knowledge: Properties and selection of decorative materials; surface treatment processes and standards; principles of spatial decoration design; decorative component manufacturing and installation standards; construction quality control methods; safety production regulations.
  2. Operational Skills: Use tools, machinery or manual methods for spraying, painting, plastering, filling, tiling and artistic treatment of building surfaces and interior spaces; manufacture and install decorative components; execute decoration construction standards; use testing tools to assess decoration quality; handle technical construction problems.
