This certification targets individuals with a foundation in housework or related service experience. Through systematic training and assessment, candidates master core skills such as house cleaning, laundry and ironing, basic meal preparation, home organization, and daily care, meeting the basic needs of household services.

Application Requirements:

Meet any one of the following conditions to register for Domestic Helper:

  1. (1)Have accumulated 5 years (or more) of work experience in domestic service or related occupations.
    (2)After obtaining a Domestic Helper vocational qualification certificate from the country of origin, have accumulated 3 years (or more) of work experience in this occupation or related occupations.
    (3)Hold a college diploma or higher in this major or a related major, and have accumulated 2 years (or more) of work experience in this occupation or related occupations.

Examination Method:

Divided into theoretical knowledge exam and operational skills assessment.

  1. (1)The Theoretical Knowledge Exam is primarily conducted via written test, assessing the basic and relevant knowledge required for this occupation. Exam duration: 90 minutes.
    (2)The Skills Assessment is conducted through on-site practical operations or simulated operations, assessing the skill level required for this occupation. Exam duration: 90 minutes.

Assessment Content:

  1. (1)Theoretical Knowledge: House cleaning knowledge, fabric identification and laundry care knowledge, food safety and basic cooking knowledge, household safety knowledge, client communication etiquette, relevant laws and regulations for domestic service, and basic emergency handling.
    (2)Operational Skills: Daily house cleaning (living room, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom), sorting and basic ironing of laundry, preparation of simple home-style dishes, home organization, and safe use of basic household appliances.
