Eligibility Requirements:

  1. Any one of the following:
  2. (1)At least 1 year of cumulative work experience in photovoltaic module manufacturing, production line operation, module testing, semiconductor material processing, quality inspection or related work.
  3. (2)College diploma or above in Materials Science and Engineering, New Energy Materials, Photovoltaic Engineering, Materials Engineering, Semiconductor Engineering or a related field.
  4. (3)Another Level 2 new energy or materials manufacturing certificate certified by the China Global Professional and Technical Certification Center.

Examination Method:

  1. Theoretical examination: Computer-based or online written examination covering photovoltaic principles, materials fundamentals, manufacturing processes and testing standards. Duration: 90 minutes.
  2. Practical assessment: On-site practical operation, simulated production line operation and testing demonstration. Assesses module manufacturing, production line operation, quality testing and process control. Duration: 120 minutes.

Assessment Content:

  1. Theoretical Knowledge: Fundamentals of photovoltaic power generation; crystalline-silicon module manufacturing processes; thin-film module production technology; photovoltaic module testing standards; manufacturing equipment operating standards; safety production regulations.
  2. Operational Skills: Operate crystalline-silicon and thin-film photovoltaic module production equipment; manufacture crystalline-silicon, thin-film and concentrating photovoltaic modules; use testing instruments to evaluate module performance; adjust manufacturing process parameters; execute quality control procedures.
