Eligibility Requirements:

  1. Any one of the following:
  2. (1)At least 1 year of cumulative work experience in this occupation or related occupations, such as VR/AR development, 3D engineering development, digital twin operation and maintenance, simulation system development, Unity/Unreal Engine development, software engineering, or technical debugging.
  3. (2)Hold a college diploma or above in Computer Science, Electronic Information, Digital Media, Software Engineering, Industrial Design and Simulation, or a related field.
  4. (3)Hold another Level 2 digital technology or engineering development certificate certified by the China Global Professional and Technical Certification Center.

Examination Method:

  1. Consists of a theoretical knowledge examination and an operational skills assessment.
  2. (1)Theoretical examination: Mainly computer-based or online written examination, focusing on fundamental theories, industry standards, technical principles, and project standards required for VR engineering technicians. Duration: 90 minutes.
  3. (2)Practical engineering assessment: Computer-based practical work, engineering project practice, and simulated engineering implementation. Assesses engine development, engineering scene construction, system debugging, project optimization, and troubleshooting. Duration: 120 minutes.

Assessment Content:

  1. Theoretical Knowledge: Fundamentals of VR technology; 3D engineering development; VR/AR system architecture; immersive interaction technology; VR hardware, mainstream platforms and compatibility requirements; fundamentals of digital twin engineering.
  2. Operational Skills: Use Unity3D or Unreal Engine to construct 3D engineering scenes; develop VR immersive interaction logic; complete basic functional module coding; perform resource importing, scene baking and material processing; debug project code and troubleshoot software bugs.
